Adding A Family Lawyer to Our Practice

Bitman, O’Brien & Morat is expanding its practice to include family law. Associate Ryan Marger will lead the team to represent clients in a variety of matters relating to family relationships including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, and adoptions.

Marger began his law career in 2007 practicing high-conflict domestic relations law. He knows not every case requires a “fight,” but everyone should involve an attorney in their family law matter. The attorneys at Bitman O’Brien & Morat will also lead clients through divorce and dissolution of marriage, alimony and spousal support, child custody and support, timesharing, relocation, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, as well as uncontested and friendly divorces.

Family law cases can be overly complex. An attorney can help clients understand the law and navigate family law matters. The team at Bitman will guide clients in the negotiation of settlement documents and parenting plans, the equitable division of assets and liabilities, development of a parenting plan in the best interests of the children, and assist in the establishment of spousal support and child support if appropriate. The goal is to always avoid a trial and resolve issues quickly and economically. Should the need arise to attend a trial because parties are unable to agree on settlement terms, our attorneys are experienced courtroom advocates and will fight for each and every client.

Bitman O’Brien & Morat has experienced counselors with a broad knowledge of legal issues who can assist our clients in all areas of family law. Bitman O’Brien & Morat also has expertise in employmentcontracts/corporationpersonal bankruptcy, partnership disputes and small business issues.
